- Made in March, 2010.
I first started off with a few 2x4's and 3/4" plywood cut to 4'x36". I used 3" drywal/multipurposel screws to fasten the 2x4's, and 1 1/4" screws for the plywood.
RELOADING BENCH I first had to measure and cut all of the wood, keeping in mind that I wanted this bench to support the weight of my press. The action with the force neccessary to reload requires a steady surface -one that isn't going to buckle under the pressure. I fastened the 2x4's to the wall and built the bench in place. The shelf is a common shelf board supported with metal brackets from a local supply center. The press is an RCBS Chucker, and it is bolted down with long wood bolts into a double 2x4 frame. |
